  • 1 8-ounce can of cream cheese.
  • 1 cup grated high-quality cheese (4 ounces).
  • Half a cup of butter.
  • 1 tablespoon of milk.
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons of green onions, thinly sliced (about 1).
  • Two tablespoons of chopped fresh dill or two teaspoons of dried dill herbs.
  • A quarter cup of roasted and chopped almonds.
  • Assorted crackers and/or flatbreads.

  1. In a large bowl, leave the cream cheese, Gouda cheese, and the butter at room temperature for 30 minutes until soft.
  2. Add milk and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Blend the electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
  4. Add dill and green onions.
  5. Cover and cook for 4 to 24 hours.
  6. Before serving these appetizers, shape the prepared cheese mixture into suitable sized balls.
  7. Roll a cheese ball into the chopped almonds and leave it for 15 minutes.
  8. Serve with biscuits or flatbread.
